Once you install the service & restart your Mac, the options will be available in any OS X program that supports services including all versions of Pages, Keynote, Numbers as well as Safari, Firefox & many, many others. I believe Microsoft Office doesn't support services, but I can't say for sure, I don't have any Mac version installed.
You must select/highlight text before selecting the service. It works for me. Here is a screenshot of a sentence from your post pasted three times. The first line is just as pasted, the second line has the text to change highlighted & the third line is the result after selecting the service.

Change Case Of Text In Word For Macro
In the menu bar at the top of the Word program window, on the Home tab, click the Change Case icon, which has an uppercase 'A' and lowercase 'a' on it. Select the appropriate option from the list of values.
